September 2024 sees the official launch of the latest member of the Nozeco family: Nozeco Spritz.

Nozeco Spritz will be the fifth variety of the UK’s leading alcohol-free sparkling wine brand alongside Nozeco, Nozeco Rosé, Nozeco Peach Bellini and Nozeco Buck’s Fizz.

A beautiful bright orange with fine bubbles, the addition of natural orange and grapefruit flavours results in a drink full of freshness with subtle citrus aromas that balance acidity and sweetness. The recommended serving for Nozeco Spritz is poured over ice in a large wine glass.

Nozeco leads the UK’s low-no market with a 26% market share (Circana Jan 2024), followed by McGuigan Zero and Eisberg. In addition to its evident consumer popularity, Nozeco has been recognised by the industry, receiving the IWSC Low and No Awards gold medal.

“Our Nozeco collection is going from strength to strength, and Nozeco Spritz is not just for those looking for an alternative to alcohol but a great drink in its own right for moments of celebration”, says Mathieu Bechtel, UK Area Manager for Les Grands Chais de France.

Nozeco is produced by Les Grands Chais de France, France’s most extensive private winemaker, with 68 properties nationwide. The company remains independently owned and is now in the second generation of the Helfrich family.

About Nozeco Spritz
Nozeco Spritz is a sparkling drink made from dealcoholised wine and natural orange and grapefruit flavours.Nozeco’s Dealcoholisation
Nozeco is produced in a state-of-the-art dealcoholisation unit; the first unit of this size and this complexity in the world of wine. The dealcoholisation process preserves the aromatic quality of the wine, giving it a richness and sensory experience very similar to that of alcoholic sparkling wines. The process uses advanced technology. Vacuum distillation at very low temperatures preserves the wine’s natural qualities, and a specific team is dedicated to the unit for optimum quality control.

Additionally, with the dealcoholisation carried out in-house, the effect of transportation is reduced, as is the ecological footprint.

About Les Grands Chais de France

In 1979, Joseph Helfrich founded Les Grands Chais de France, which is, first and foremost, the story of a family driven by a passion for wine. His vision was “to have consumers worldwide enjoy the huge diversity of wines and the authenticity of French and foreign terroirs”.

One of his earliest steps to achieving this vision was the creation of J.P. Chenet, which demystified wine and offered two grape varieties: a Cabernet Sauvignon du Pays d’Oc and a Blanc de Blancs des Côtes de Gascogne. It subsequently became the most popular French wine brand in the world.

Today, Les Grands Chais de France is France’s most prominent wine exporter, accounting for around one in every six bottles sold in international markets. It is also France’s most extensive private winemaker, with 68 properties nationwide. The company remains independently owned and is now in the second generation of the Helfrich family.

Their portfolio covers a wide range of brands, from heritage brands from historic wineries such as Calvet and Moillard to the UK’s fastest-growing rosé, Fleurs de Prairie, to disrupter pioneer brands showcasing new technology with the UK’s number one alcohol-free fizz range, Nozeco, and many more.

The Alsace-based group company recently expanded its reach to become a global wine producer with estates in a variety of premium wine regions around the world, including Las Niñas in Colchagua, Chile, and Neethlingshof in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
